Here's some language for framing the refinement conversation with your enterprise client:
"I've reviewed the EY materials and see tremendous potential in your vision. To ensure we deliver measurable value, I'd like to propose a refinement workshop where we:
1. Define success metrics for each key feature (What makes something 'TurboTax-like' in measurable terms?)
2. Prioritize capabilities based on business impact vs. implementation effort
3. Create a phased approach that delivers value incrementally
This will transform your compelling vision into an actionable roadmap that your team can execute with confidence."
This positions you as enhancing their vision rather than replacing it, while creating the space to introduce proper product thinking.
